We Don't Claim It. We Prove It.

Zaag University was founded in 2019 on a single conviction — Quod Erat Demonstrandum: that which was to be demonstrated. Every decision since has been made in public, held to account, and measured against outcomes. Three cohorts have graduated. 107 students have completed programs under proxy agreements. Four pillars — Healthcare & Emergency Medicine | Technology & AI | Policy & Leadership | Applied Disciplines — anchor 79 programs across 8 faculties. Undergraduate enrolment opens September 2026. Graduate programs follow in September 2027. Building in Public is not a marketing phrase. It is the operating model.

Canada's First B.EMS

The Bachelor of Emergency Medicine is the first of its kind in Canada — a four-year honours degree that moves practitioners through the full paramedic pathway: EMR → PCP/AEMCA → ACP → B.EMS. Delivered Hybrid with VR/MR simulation embedded throughout.

$575M Endowment — Ready to Deploy

A $575 million endowment positions Zaag to operate at scale from day one. Funding is allocated across research infrastructure, student bursaries, faculty appointments, and the 9 research centres anchoring each faculty.

Indigenous Frameworks Embedded by Design

OCAP® principles, UNDRIP, and TRC Calls to Action — including Call 92 in every business program — are embedded at the curriculum level, not added as electives. Indigenous advisors hold full voting rights on all Program Advisory Committees.

Life at Zaag

A Campus Being Built in Public

Campus culture at Zaag is not inherited — it is being built, deliberately, alongside the institution itself. The733 is home of the Zaag Zombies, our varsity program rooted in community and competitive spirit. ZaagVille is the evolving social and residential hub where students connect beyond the classroom. ZaagClinic serves a dual purpose: student health services and a live clinical training site for health sciences learners. This is not a simulation of campus life. It is the real thing, taking shape in real time.
