University Library
Deep collections, specialist support, and space designed to make serious academic work possible.
The Zaag University Library is being built to support 79+ programmes across eight faculties and nine research centres — with collections, databases, and specialist services scaled accordingly. Physical and digital collections will span every discipline, from emergency medicine and clinical sciences to culinary arts, applied technology, and interdisciplinary research. Subject specialist librarians will be embedded in each faculty. The Library is designed for the kind of work Zaag's Q.E.D. philosophy demands: rigorous inquiry, supported properly, without institutional barriers between a student and the source they need.

Library Resources
Everything you need for academic success, all under one roof.
Physical Collections
Print collections across all eight faculties, including core texts for every active programme, reference materials, and a special collections area for archival and rare items accessible to faculty and advanced graduate researchers.
Digital Archives
Institutional subscriptions to major academic databases — including Web of Science, Scopus, and the JSTOR archive — accessible on and off campus via single sign-on through the ZaagU Portal. Remote access works on any device.
Study Spaces
Individually bookable study rooms across multiple floors, from collaborative suites for group work to quiet carrels for focused individual research. Rooms reservable through the Library portal in advance.
Research Support
Subject specialist librarians — each embedded in a faculty — offer individual research consultations by appointment. Workshops on systematic review methodology, citation management, and research data management run throughout both terms.
Technology Hub
Public workstations running academic software suites, printing and scanning stations, and media production resources — all available to enrolled students. Exact specifications will be confirmed ahead of the September 2026 undergraduate launch.
Interlibrary Loans
Through the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN) and OCUL Scholars Portal, students can request physical or digital materials from partner libraries across Canada. Most digital requests are fulfilled within 48 hours.
