University is hard — academically, financially, personally. Zaag's support network is being built to take that seriously from day one. Each service below is designed to be staffed by professionals, accessible through the ZaagU Portal or in person, and responsive within clear timeframes. ZaagClinic carries a dual mandate — student health resource and clinical training site for health sciences students — making it a distinctive part of the support ecosystem. Academic Advising
Each faculty will maintain a team of professional academic advisors holding individual appointments and drop-in hours throughout the week. Advisors support course selection, degree planning, academic standing, petition processes, and referrals to specialist services. Students will be assigned a named advisor from their first term, accessible through the ZaagU Portal.
Counselling & Mental Health — ZaagClinic
ZaagClinic's mental health division will provide registered counsellors for individual therapy, group support programmes, and crisis referral pathways. ZaagClinic operates a dual mandate: student health resource and clinical training site for nursing, health sciences, and emergency medicine students. This structure means that mental health support is embedded in the institution's academic identity, not appended to it.
Accessibility Services
Students with documented disabilities, chronic illness, or learning differences will work with accessibility consultants to develop individual accommodation plans. Accommodations will include extended exam time, alternate format materials, note-taking support, assistive technology, and priority course registration. Plans will be portable across all programmes and faculties, and coordination runs through the ZaagU Portal.
Career Services
Career advising, resume and cover letter reviews, mock interviews, co-op placement support, and access to the job board through the ZaagU Portal. The Career Services team will maintain relationships with employer partners across healthcare, technology, business, public policy, and the applied disciplines represented in Zaag's 79+ programme portfolio.
Writing & Academic Skills Centre
Drop-in and appointment-based academic writing and quantitative skills support throughout the academic year. The Writing Centre will serve students across all eight faculties — from first-year essay structure to graduate thesis editing. Quantitative support will cover statistics, data analysis, and programme-specific mathematical content.
Financial Aid Office
The Financial Aid Office will administer institutional grants, bursaries, and emergency funds. Walk-in and portal-based advising will be available throughout the academic year. Tuition schedules and financial aid availability will be published ahead of the September 2026 admissions launch. Students with financial planning questions in the interim are welcome to contact admissions@uzaag.com.
