A campus calendar that grows with the Zaag community — live on ZaagVille, tracked on The733.
Zaag's event calendar is built into the ecosystem: ZaagVille is where community events are posted and RSVPs are managed. The733 — Home of the Zaag Zombies — is where athletics and recreation events live. ZaagClinic hosts wellness programming. EducationSpace carries academic events and seminar series. The five platforms share a single notification system through the ZaagU Portal, so students see what matters to them without hunting across separate apps. The events below reflect the rhythm we are building toward for September 2026 and beyond.
Upcoming Events
Prospective Student Information Sessions
Regular sessions for prospective undergraduate and graduate students covering programme offerings, the regulatory timeline toward September 2026, the campus ecosystem, and Q&A with the admissions team. Register at admissions@uzaag.com to receive session dates.
Research Centre Open Days
Each of Zaag's nine research centres will host open-day sessions for prospective students, visiting scholars, and community partners. Sessions will cover active research programmes, funding opportunities, and the pathway from undergraduate study into research-stream graduate work.
Fall 2026 Welcome Week
The inaugural undergraduate Welcome Week will bring together the first full cohort of Zaag students. Events will include the Club and Organisation Fair, faculty welcome sessions, Zaag Zombies athletics programming through The733, ZaagVille community events, and orientation to all five ecosystem platforms.
Zaag Zombies — Inaugural Season
The Zaag Zombies varsity programme launches with the arrival of the first undergraduate cohort. The733 platform will carry all Zaag Zombies scheduling, results, and community content from day one. Prospective student-athletes are encouraged to register their interest at admissions@uzaag.com.
Wellness Programming — ZaagClinic
ZaagClinic operates a dual mandate: student health resource and clinical training site for health sciences students. Wellness programming — including mental health support, health education events, and peer support training — will run throughout the academic year from the September 2026 launch.
Graduate Information Sessions
Information sessions for prospective graduate students exploring the September 2027 graduate launch. Sessions will cover research centre projects, supervision availability, funding opportunities, and the graduate admissions timeline. Register at admissions@uzaag.com.

All registered student organisations table simultaneously across campus — the fastest way for new students to find their community and get involved from their first weeks on campus.
Research Symposium
An annual showcase of student and faculty research across all eight faculties and nine research centres, open to students, faculty, industry partners, and community members.
Cultural Events — ZaagVille
ZaagVille — 'Your campus. Your community.' — hosts cultural celebrations, community dinners, international exchange events, and student-organised programming reflecting the diversity of Zaag's student body.
Wellness Week — ZaagClinic
A university-wide mental health and wellbeing initiative featuring workshops, peer support training, fitness programming through The733, and ZaagClinic counselling sessions. ZaagClinic's dual mandate makes it uniquely positioned to connect student health support with clinical education.
