Five purpose-built platforms — one login — connecting every dimension of academic and campus life.
The Zaag Ecosystem is a suite of five purpose-built digital platforms developed in-house. The decision to build rather than license was deliberate: off-the-shelf university software is designed for the average institution, and Zaag's hybrid and VR/MR-integrated curriculum, cross-faculty programme structures, and dual-mandate facilities — ZaagClinic serving simultaneously as student health service and clinical training site — generate service interactions that generic platforms handle poorly. The Ecosystem was built to reflect the actual structure of a Zaag student's life rather than forcing that life to conform to platform limitations.
From a student's perspective, the Ecosystem functions as a single coherent interface: one Zaag ID, one password, one dashboard showing everything relevant to the day. Portal manages the administrative backbone. EducationSpace hosts the curriculum. The733 runs athletics, Zaag Zombies schedules, and fitness. ZaagVille manages residential life. ZaagClinic handles both health appointments and, for health programme students, clinical training logistics. The five platforms share a common data layer, a unified identity system, and a notification engine that aggregates alerts into a single prioritised feed. The integrations are not cosmetic — they reflect the actual structure of the institution.
How the Ecosystem Works
One identity. Five platforms. Zero friction.
Single Sign-On
One Zaag ID — provisioned at registration, before the first day of classes — unlocks all five platforms across web, iOS, and Android. The identity layer uses OAuth 2.0 with multi-factor authentication. IT Services provisions, manages, and revokes credentials automatically through the student lifecycle, including transitions between proxy programme enrolment and formal undergraduate enrolment at the September 2026 launch.
Cross-Platform Notifications
The Ecosystem's notification engine aggregates alerts from all five platforms and surfaces them in a single ranked feed, ordered by urgency and time-sensitivity. Students set platform-level preferences once; the engine handles deduplication, batching, and quiet hours. A clinical training appointment reminder from ZaagClinic, a Zaag Zombies game schedule update from The733, and a grade release from EducationSpace all arrive in the same consolidated feed.
Data Portability
The Ecosystem's shared data layer means that information entered once propagates appropriately across platforms. A ZaagClinic clinical training session for a health programme student does not get scheduled during a lecture that Portal knows the student is enrolled in. A Zaag Zombies practice block in The733 appears in the student's integrated calendar alongside academic commitments from EducationSpace. The integrations reflect the actual structure of a Zaag student's day.
