The Digital Classroom, Reimagined
EducationSpace is Zaag University's proprietary learning management system, built from the ground up by an in-house engineering and instructional design team. The decision not to license an existing platform was driven by a specific requirement: Zaag's hybrid and VR/MR-integrated curriculum, cross-faculty programme structures, and dual-mode delivery (in-person and online as genuine equals rather than primary and supplementary) generate course structures that off-the-shelf LMS platforms accommodate poorly or not at all. EducationSpace was designed around those requirements rather than forcing the curriculum to conform to platform limitations.
The platform hosts active course sections across all four current programmes — B.EMS, Dip.APC, Dip.CPC, and Dip.EMS — and will scale to the full 79+ programme catalogue at the September 2026 undergraduate launch. Core features include assignment submission with version history, asynchronous discussion boards with instructor-moderated threading, live virtual lecture rooms with breakout functionality for hybrid sessions, VR/MR simulation scheduling integrated with ZaagClinic's clinical training logistics, and an AI-powered study recommendation engine that surfaces relevant materials based on a student's assessment history and engagement patterns. EducationSpace integrates bidirectionally with Portal: grade submissions push to the academic record in real time, and course enrolments confirmed on Portal provision EducationSpace access within 90 seconds.

Threaded, instructor-moderated forums are nested by week, topic, and assignment — so questions live exactly where students need them. Anonymous post options, upvoting, and instructor endorsement flags help surface the most useful contributions.
Grade Tracker & Portal Sync
A weighted grade book updates as results are released and syncs automatically to Portal, keeping your academic record current without any manual steps. Instructors can attach rubric-level annotations to each entry, and students can view a full submission history with feedback threads for every graded item.
Study Groups
Form private or course-linked study groups with shared file libraries, collaborative document editing, group video rooms, and persistent group chat — supporting the collaborative learning that Zaag's hybrid and interdisciplinary programs depend on.
